Corletto in comeback
AUSTRALIAN defender Julie Corletto has been given the green light to resume court work as the Diamonds gather for final World Cup preparations at a training camp today.
Diamonds coach Lisa Alexander said Corletto would be able to remove the moon boot she has worn for foot soreness for the past four weeks.
But Alexander said the star goal defence, who is entering her third and final World Cup ahead of retirement, would build up her on- court training load gradually.
“( Corletto) just needed to have the boot on that little bit longer and she will be able to have it off once we get into camp,” Alexander said.
“She can now have her graduated return ( to court work), which will be pretty normal really.”
