Hooper to play Kiwis
MICHAEL Hooper is free to play in the Rugby Championship decider against the All Blacks next week despite being found guilty of striking and suspended for one game by the SANZAR judiciary.
Hooper will serve his suspension for Manly in their quarter- final against Randwick on Saturday after the Wallabies flanker was named on the Marlins’ bench earlier this week.
Having reduced a twoweek ban down to one due to Hooper’s clean record, SANZAR judicial commissioner Nigel Hampton accepted Hooper was legitimately scheduled to play for Manly. Several Wallabies bench players had been released to their clubs this weekend.
