COLD AT THE END OF THE RAINBOW
THESE hardy surfers weren’t about to let a little cold weather ruin their ride yesterday in Sydney.
While most people in NSW clung to their doonas that little bit harder, with parts of the state shivering in temperatures below zero, this group of battle- hardened surfers hit the waves at Bondi Beach and were treated to a rainbow for their efforts.
The sun has struggled to make much of an impact recently and winter records have tumbled across NSW, with Deniliquin, in the Riverina, experiencing its coldest morning in 110 years with the mercury dropping to - 5.6C.
It will be warmer in Sydney today, hitting 20C.
CHILLY: Surfers ignore the frigid conditions to take a plunge at Bondi.
