Au­di­ence race fever a sell­out for Fox­tel

FOUR Fox­tel shows will broad­cast live from Townsville in front of a packed the­atre af­ter reg­is­tra­tions to be in the stu­dio au­di­ence were booked out.

In­side Su­per­cars, Queens­lan­ders Only, League Life and Paul Mur­ray Live will be broad­cast from the Civic The­atre from 4pm to­day as part of the build- up to the Townsville 400.

Fox­tel re­gional pub­li­cist Gabriella Fac­chini said the pay- TV net­work was thrilled to be the first to broad­cast mul­ti­ple shows from the Civic The­atre.

“This is such an ex­cit­ing week ahead of the Wat­pac Townsville 400,” she said.

“With an over­whelm­ing re­sponse to reg­is­tra­tions all stu­dio au­di­ences filled up in five days.

“Gor­den Tallis and Yvonne Samp­son grew up in the area and it is nice to be able to bring tal­ent home.

“We look for­ward to de­liv­er­ing the Fox­tel ex­pe­ri­ence to the peo­ple of North Queens­land.”

Those lucky enough to at­tend the event will get to meet Fox­tel celebri­ties in­clud­ing Tallis, Samp­son, Mur­ray, Jess Yates, Mark Skaife, Lara Pitt, Han­nah Hol­lis, Robert Crad­dock, Mal Meninga and Justin Hodges.

There will also be games, food trucks and footy clin­ics, with gates open­ing at 3pm.

STAR PER­FORMER: Fox­tel star Paul Mur­ray will broad­cast his show from Townsville.
