Manly lose top for­ward

MANLY Sea Ea­gles back- rower Lewis Brown is ex­pected to miss the next two NRL rounds due to a knee in­jury how­ever the club has signed Kelepi Tangi­noa to help al­le­vi­ate his loss.

Fresh off los­ing fel­low sec­ond rower Cur­tis Siro­nen for two months with a pec­toral in­jury, Brown is ex­pected to miss the high- fly­ing Sea Ea­gles’ next two clashes with Pen­rith and Wests Tigers.

For­mer Par­ra­matta for­ward Tangi­noa trained with his new team­mates at Narrabeen yes­ter­day but is con­sid­ered sev­eral weeks off be­ing ready for the NRL.

Tangi­noa, who has played 16 NRL games in his stints with North Queens­land and Par­ra­matta, was re­leased from his con­tract with the Eels on Mon­day.
