Dream win for Grid Kid
A LITTLE boy who loves cars and trucks won the Bulletin’s Supercars Disney Grid Kid competition.
Two- year- old Jase Duncan, from Burdell, won a three- day general admission and a paddock access family pass to the Watpac Townsville 400.
He also won a Sphero Ultimate Lightning McQueen model car, which is controlled using an app and valued at $ 500, and an official DisneyPixar merchandise pack.
Jase’s mother Beck Duncan said her son loved anything that moved and was a huge fan of the Cars movies.
“He loves cars, trucks and planes,” she said.
“We’ll be driving along the highway and he’ll say ' look Mummy, there is a truck’. He is obsessed. I cried all morning when I read my name in the paper and found out I’d won because it’s not something I would usually be able to afford to take him to.”
