Townsville Bulletin - - RACING - LEE PEARCE

GREYHOUND racing returns to the Townsville Showgrounds tonight after a twoweek break with a nine- race program.

Race 6 is the All Rig Lifting & Engineering 3/ 4th Grade over 380m.

This has a top- quality field with Sky Lark ( 1), for Michael Hickmott, drawing well after his two races in Cairns, winning the 4/ 5th Grade heats over 410m, and running second in the final last week.

Paleface Scotch ( 2), for Rhonda Essery, has been a model of consistency. He will be right in this and can pose a danger to the favourite.

Innocent Man ( 3), for Glen Olsen, will start favourite. He is in good form with a last- start win in Cairns over 544m to win the Cairns Cup Consolation.

He is dropping back in distance and will be the one to beat.

Atomic Opie ( 8), for George Tsakissiris, is returning after running a second last week in Cairns behind Slow Dancer, and she loves could surprise.

Race 7 is the Lounds Fresh Seafood 4/ 5th Grade over 498m, and has a good field with several chances.

Chips Ahoy ( 3), for Rhonda Essery, has strong claims over this distance including a best time of 28.69 and should start favourite.

Brother Rob ( 4), for Glen Olsen, has been a model of consistency of late, running a good third behind his litter brother Innocent Man — winner of the Cairns Cup Conso- this track and lation over 544m. This youngster is drawn well and only needs a bit of luck.

Olsen’s other dog, Whatta Pass ( 6), ran second behind his litter brother last week in the Cairns Cup Consolation and will be storming home towards the end of the race.

Race 8 is the Tella Photography 1st and 2nd Grade over 380m. Oscar Tango ( 1), for Michael Clark, is returning to racing after a sixmonth break and has drawn ideally. Watch the market first- up.
