Knife charge in road rage incident
A RASMUSSEN man, 36, has been charged after allegedly pulling out a knife in a road rage incident following a minor car crash Kirwan.
Acting Senior Sergeant Robert Dusha said police were called to Thuringowa Drive about 10.30am yesterday, where two vehicles collided.
“As a result of that crash both vehicles have stopped on the side of the road and then allegedly one occupant of one of those vehicles has exited ( and) waved a weapon, believed to be a knife, in the direction of the motorist and made some threats,” he said.
“He subsequently returned to his vehicle and drove away.”
Sen- Sgt Dusha said it would be alleged that the “road rage incident was one- sided”.
