STEPHANIE LIVING LIFE AT FULL GALLOP

Townsville Bulletin - - NEWS -

THE Home Hill Campdraft started yesterday at Landers Creek Station near Millaroo, one hour and 15 minutes from Townsville. It finishes tomorrow. One of the organisers is Stephanie Tudehope from Landers Creek Station. Stephanie helps run the family- owned station while studying nursing full- time at James Cook University. How she fits in the branding, the mustering, the stock work and everything else there is to do on a station with university assignments and driving to James Cook for lectures at three times a week is anybody’s guess. But she loves it and she’ll make a great nursing sister when she finishes next year. She was pictured here just after yarding some of the campdraft cattle at Landers Creek on Thursday. If you are thinking of going to the campdraft head south along the Bruce Highway, turn right on the Upper Haughton Road after crossing the Haughton River, follow signs to Clare and then turn right on the AyrDalbeg road to the Landers Creek Station turn- off. Bush camping facilities available.
