Violation costs Harrison
THE former lover of Seven West media boss Tim Worner yesterday lost what a judge described as a vitriolic, scandalous and ultimately costly case.
Amber Harrison could have walked away from the bitter fight at least four times without it costing her a cent but she has been ordered to repay $ 417,428 she received from Seven in a settlement as well as their legal costs – estimated to be another $ 200,000.
In the Supreme Court, Justice John Sackar found the former executive assistant had breached a contract she agreed to with Seven when she went public with details of her sordid 18- month affair with the married Mr Worner in November and December last year.
Justice John Sackar said the proceedings “have from the outset been engulfed in a vitriolic atmosphere”.
