CABARET singer Jennifer Ward- Lealand will bring back fun and glamour with her performance Falling in Love Again at the Civic Theatre next month.

The show is part of the Australian Festival of Chamber Music and also features musicians Grant Winterburn on piano and Aaron Coddel on bass.

Ward- Lealand, an actor and singer has worked extensively in theatre, film, television, and radio in New Zealand for 30 years.

In the early ’ 90s she moved to Australia to appear in the comedy TV series Full Frontal.

The songstress said she plays tribute to the iconic Marlene Dietrich with songs by Cole Porter, Edith Piaf, Frederic Hollander and Pete Seeger in her show.

Beautifully lit and featuring an exquisite recreation of one of Dietrich’s famous gowns, this critically acclaimed cabaret show vividly captures her timeless style and glamour.

The performance is on August 1 at 8pm at the Townsville Civic Theatre. Tickets are Adult $ 64, Concession $ 60, and AFCM members $ 57 and are available at Ticketshop.
