Kogan taking on insurance
ONLINE retailer Kogan continues to expand beyond TVs and appliances, adding insurance to its business.
The group has struck a three- year deal with Hollard Insurance, the South African company behind Real Insurance, to offer home, contents, landlord, car and travel insurance.
Kogan Insurance joins Kogan Mobile and Kogan Travel.
Hollard will underwrite the insurance products, on offer before the end of the year, and Kogan will earn commission.
Kogan executive director David Shafer said the company would continue to look for business opportunities.
The group last month signed with Vodafone Australia to add fixed- line national broadband network services to its range of telco products from next year.
