MUM FINDING OWN NICHE IN BUSINESS
THE combination of being an entrepreneur and a mum has brought on a national award nomination for a local mum of four.
Anja Letz from Kelso who is the business owner of “Immeryours” has been nominated for the 2017 AusMumpreneur Awards.
The awards are designed to recognise the growing number of women who successfully balance motherhood and business in a way that suits their life and family.
Originally from Germany, Anja is married to Andrew McIntosh and together they have four children – Sean, 11, Bailey, 6, Halo, 3, and Cash, 1.
Mrs Letz said she was stoked that all the hard work and the occasional doubts were well worth it and had been recognised.
“I was longing for a better work- life balance and wanted to spend more time around the kids as they grew up,” she said.
With her passion for people and jumped into entrepreneurship.
Starting up in 2016, Immeryours showcases art she Anja’s creation of keepsake jewellery with a range of products available as the brand continues to flourish.
“As long as I can remember I have always created things,” she said.
“Working for yourself certainly has its benefits and challenges. You certainly win if you plan and organise your business activities in advance.”
The winners of the 2017 AusMumpreneur Awards will be announced at an awards dinner at Doltone House in Sydney on August 25.
