Trice’s aim is true to push Bullets to top
TRAVIS Trice joined the Brisbane Bullets with the intention of forming a lethal combination with Torrey Craig.
But while the plan has altered with Craig now chasing his NBA dream with the Denver Nuggets, Trice’s end goal remains exactly the same – turning the Bullets into an NBL force.
“It’s too late now to cry over that,” Trice, 24, said of Craig having left the Bullets before his own Brisbane arrival this week.
Like Craig did last year, Trice linked with the Bullets from the Cairns Taipans, where he was MVP last season.
But now Craig will serve as an inspiration for Trice, whose long- term plan is also to play in the NBA.
“But my thing right now is really just focusing on what I can do to help the Bullets win,” the point guard said.
“The NBA’s not going anywhere. My thing is to be 100 per cent here with the Bullets.”
