HAT GIRL GETS AHEAD WITH CROWN
A- LISTER milliner Danica Erard is continuing to bask in her crowning glory with one of her creations finding its way into the hands of a global superstar’s daughter.
The Mackay- based “hat girl”, founder of DE Millinery, has been cutting, crafting and sewing her way into the hearts of many of Townsville’s social elite and to celebrities, such as Rebecca Judd, Bec Hewitt, Ashley Hart, Lady Gaga and the Queen’s granddaughter Zara Phillips.
But Erard’s client calibre has arguably r reached new heights when one of her emerging children’s designs ( inset) was sent to music royalty Beyonce. “When you wake to news that. @ beyonce h has just been gifted your MiniMe “Princess Crown” via the amazing @hollywoodswagbag team- This is beyond!!!! @demillinery adore Queen B & are certain Blue Ivy will love our leather crown all the way from Australia,” she wrote.
It’s expected Erard’s crowns will next be seen en masse during the spring racing carnival.
