SURVIVOR OUT TO TRIUMPH

Townsville Bulletin - - NATION -

CHANNEL 10 hopes Survivor will continue to outplay and outlast its reality TV rival, after overtaking struggling Hell’s Kitchen in the ratings. The Marco Pierre Whitefronted cooking competition this week lost 200,000 viewers from its debut — falling 22,000 below Survivor. However, The Block remains in top spot with more than one million viewers on Sunday and Monday. The Survivor camp is shaken by a near- drowning this week — but it won’t be Olympic water polo player Nicola “Ziggy” Zagame ( pictured) who has worldclass swimming skills. Not that her athletic skills give her the upper hand.

“People look at you as a threat because you are physically capable and it puts a target on your back,” she said.
