All Blacks inspire Kidwell’s Kiwis
AFTER spending time with the All Blacks, David Kidwell is now using secrets from the world’s best rugby team in his campaign to pull off a World Cup shock win for the Kiwis.
“I had a lovely opportunity to go in when they played the Bledisloe Cup in Sydney.
“The connection there was ( mental skills coach) Gilbert Enoka. He was a former teacher and volleyball teacher of mine – I’ve got great respect for the guy,” Kidwell said.
“I was really blown away with how playerdriven the All Blacks environment is. “That was a real eye- opener. They really enjoy themselves in that environment – I got a lot out of it.
“I’ve already started to do some of the been doing.
“I looked at changing our training, from the times to what parts of the day. Your double days, where you train twice a day, traditionally two days out from the game we have off, then you have your captain’s run, then you play.
