Pair to face drug charges

DRUGS and a knife were seized by police after a car was searched in the car park of a Townsville shopping complex.

Two men have been charged with drug offences following the search of a vehicle parked at the rear of Domain Central at 1am yesterday.

A 30- year- old North Ward man has been charged with one count of possess a restricted drugs and possess utensils.

A 38- year- old Kirwan man has been charged with one count of possess dangerous drugs, possess anything for use in the commission of crime, possess utensil and unlawful possession of a weapon.

Both men are expected to appear in the Townsville Magistrates Court on December 6.
