CHARTERS Towers’ O’Donoghue siblings still have their feel firmly on the ground despite riding a wave of success on The Voice.
Kasey, 16, Liam, 19, and Katelyn, 21, ( pictured) still call the Towers home amid a full calendar of gigs and festivals for their band, Homegrown, along the eastern coast.
“We all live at home with Mum and Dad still, and all have to juggle our day jobs and for Kasey school, with rehearsing and performing,” Liam says. “Yes it’s busy, but it is worth it. We all love performing, and we all love rehearsing.”
The country band will perform at Townsville Rock Fest Gone Country, headlined by Troy Cassar- Daley, on Saturday, October 27, at the Murray Sporting Complex AFL Grounds.
Read their story and profiles of Cassar- Daley and another of the event’s stars, Judah Kelly in tomorrow’s Townsville Eye.
