Bangkok Air­ways ex­pan­sion

Bangkok Air­ways will see sig­nif­i­cant growth in 2016 with two new flight routes, in­creased trip fre­quen­cies and sev­eral new air­craft join­ing its fleet. This month, start­ing 02 April, the car­rier will start op­er­at­ing daily flights from Chi­ang Mai to Mae Hong Son be­fore kick­ing off four flights a week from Bangkok to Danang on 25 May. Flight fre­quen­cies will be boosted along pop­u­lar routes with Bangkok to Phnom Penh in­creas­ing from five to six flights per day, Bangkok to Chi­ang Mai go­ing from seven to eight and Chi­ang Mai to Sa­mui in­creas­ing from one to two dur­ing high-sea­son. The air­line is ex­pect­ing to re­ceive three new ATR72-600S and three to four Air­bus A319s, in­creas­ing the fleet to 36 air­craft for 2016.
