Dubai Tourism swept Aus­tralia re­cently with a packed week of in­dus­try events, reach­ing more than 800 agents, ex­ec­u­tives and prod­uct man­agers in the process. The events were held in col­lab­o­ra­tion with Emi­rates and in­cluded VIP lunches and evening work­shops, up­dat­ing the Aus­tralian mar­ket on the des­ti­na­tion’s new and evolv­ing at­trac­tions un­der the theme “A New Dubai Ev­ery Time”. Celebrity MCS in­cluded Sun­rise pre­sen­ters and correspondents Matt Tinny, Michelle Tap­per and Ed­wina Bartholomew, as well as the AFL Footy Show’s Re­becca Mad­dern and The Morn­ing Show’s Kylie Gil­lies. Among new at­trac­tions show­cased to the in­dus­try were the world’s largest in­door theme park, IMG Worlds of Ad­ven­ture, and the 2000-seat Dubai Opera, both of which opened in Au­gust.
