Hy­att brings new lifestyle brand to Aus­tralia

Hy­att's new­est ho­tel brand, Hy­att Centric, will en­ter Aus­tralia fol­low­ing the sign­ing of a deal for a new prop­erty in Tas­ma­nia.

Sched­uled to open in 2019, Hy­att Centric Ho­bart will be a new­build ho­tel lo­cated close to the city's water­front. De­signed as an up­scale "lifestyle" brand for "mil­len­nial­minded guests", Hy­att Centric aims to re­flect the cul­ture of its des­ti­na­tions. This in­cludes work­ing with lo­cal part­ners such as F&B sup­pli­ers. The Ho­bart ho­tel will fea­ture a restau­rant, bar and meeting space.

Hy­att Centric Ho­bart will join an ex­ten­sive col­lec­tion of Hy­att ho­tels in Aus­tralia, in­clud­ing Park Hy­att Syd­ney, Park Hy­att Mel­bourne, Hy­att Can­berra, Grand Hy­att Mel­bourne, Hy­att Re­gency Syd­ney, Hy­att Re­gency Perth, and Hy­att Place Mel­bourne.

It won't be the first new-build Hy­att Centric ho­tel in the Asia Pa­cific re­gion how­ever; Hy­att is plan­ning to launch the brand in the Ginza area of Tokyo in 2018.
