EVA em­ploys robots to help passengers

EVA Air has em­ployed two robots to greet and serve to passengers at Taipei’s two air­ports, Taoyuan and Song­shan. The robots, named Pep­per, will be on hand to scans board­ing passes to pro­vide a range of in­for­ma­tion, such as depar­ture de­tails, weather up­dates, duty- free special of­fers and EVA pro­mo­tions. In­for­ma­tion is cur­rently avail­able in Chi­nese, with English and Ja­pa­nese to fol­low.
