El­li­son to Chair SLK

FORMER SeaLink Travel Group CEO Jef­frey El­li­son has been ap­pointed as the com­pany’s Chair­man, re­plac­ing An­drew McEvoy who has taken a new role based in Saudi Ara­bia (TD 17 Apr).

SeaLink thanked McEvoy for his “valu­able in­put and ad­vice” since he joined the board in 2015.

Af­ter en­gag­ing an ex­ec­u­tive search firm to seek his re­place­ment, the board has now ap­pointed El­li­son to act as Chair “to en­sure suc­cess­ful de­liv­ery of the com­pany’s strat­egy whilst it con­tin­ues to re­view the ex­per­tise and char­ac­ter­is­tics re­quired to lead the board for the fu­ture”.

SeaLink has also ap­pointed former Aur­i­zon MD Lance Hock­ridge as a new non-ex­ec­u­tive Di­rec­tor, say­ing he has “ex­ten­sive in­ter­na­tional ex­pe­ri­ence in the trans­porta­tion, man­u­fac­tur­ing and lo­gis­tics sec­tors with a fo­cus on safety, op­er­a­tional and fi­nan­cial trans­for­ma­tion of busi­nesses”.
