ROAD TALON 240
a high quality road racing shoe that excels in the wet UK weather and should become a firm favorite in winter and summer road races. The grip was excellent on wet tarmac pavements and even on a mixed terrain riverpath. The roomy upper felt comfortable and reasonably supportive, though be warned, it offers a lot less support than you would need for regular training. The shoe fits firmly in the lightweight bracket, coming in at 240g, and is an idea race shoe. While there’s no triathlon specific features such as handy loops or elastic laces, the flexible upper means they’re easy to slip on in T2 and at such a reasonable price, you won’t begrudge paying out extra for elastic laces.
