Unfortunately the next morning a member of the bridal party has been killed and found at the reception venue. Lucien can’t investigate though, no matter how much he wants to, after being red as the police surgeon due to supposedly disreputable behaviour.

But there’s another mystery to keep Lucien busy. An estranged family member has asked for his help to solve a missing person’s case in Melbourne.

It seems simple enough but as Lucien probes further a shocking connection comes to light with the case tied in with the dead body found at the wedding.

Along the way there are more murders and a funeral to deal with and Lucien nds that he might need to look deeply into his difficult relationship with his father to crack this case.

Jean patiently waits for the moment she and Lucien will be man and wife and stands by his side throughout this troubling time as Lucien digs deep into the past. Can Lucien solve these murders in time and nally have his happy ever after with Jean?

A member of the bridal party has been killed and found at the reception venue.
