1. Cook­ing school

SOZO Square in Tweed Heads will host a cook­ing work­shop each Sun­day for three weeks, start­ing this week­end.

Cost is $30 a per­son and in­cludes in­gre­di­ents for each fresh, sim­ple and de­li­cious recipe.

2. Tasty skat­ing

THE De­sign Col­lec­tive will host a skat­ing party and food truck bo­nanza at Epic Skate in Tweed Heads South on Satur­day evening. The event will run from 3–9pm at 20/23 En­ter­prise Dr, with some of the best mo­bile food from the North­ern Rivers and Gold Coast serv­ing din­ner and dessert. All ages are able to skate. En­try $11, skate hire $4.

3. Killing Heidi

EVEN its mem­bers didn’t ex­pect to re­group, but the Aussie pop rock­ers will bring one of their first shows in more than a decade to the Night quar­ter on the Gold Coast on Satur­day. For full de­tails, see page 17.

4. Vinyl Frenzy

COASTAL rock-and-rollers Vinyl Frenzy will take to the stage at Tweed Heads Bowls Club on Satur­day night. They will per­form from 7.30pm. The group is known for its au­then­tic 1960s sounds and is sure to of­fer a great op­por­tu­nity to dance the night away.
