SMALL business owners have been invited to learn more about using the social media platform Facebook as a marketing medium.

Enterprise and Training Company is bringing its successful Facebook for Your Business workshop series to the NSW North Coast.

ETC marketing coordinator Robyn Simon said it was crucial for businesses to use Facebook as part of their marketing strategy, with latest reports show that Facebook now has 15 million users in Australia or 62% of the population and an increasing number of businesses are seeing the power of using Facebook to reach their market.

“The NSW North Coast workshops aim to provide a hands-on understanding of how a Facebook Business page works and how it can benefit your business,” Ms Simon said.

“The workshops are divided into two sessions over the day. Businesses can book just one or come to both.”

The morning workshop will look at Facebook for small business, focusing on the essentials of Facebook, helping businesses to get noticed, to engage with other business pages and how to navigate around their page, and will run from 9.30am-12.30pm.

The afternoon workshop will be for the next-level user and will focus on utilising Facebook as a business development tool through to learning how to create audiences targeting your ideal customer, and will be held from 1.30pm-4.30pm.
