Energy woes

Tweed Daily News - - NEWS | OPINION -

Our PM must think we all came down in the last shower of rain.

Why complain about the high price of gas? They have never done anything about the high prices of petrol etc, neither has the opposition!

I have been a stock market investor of many years and this has been spoken about for the past five years.

Let’s face it: Australians pay the highest rate for everything due to inaction.

Why would you sell off the energy sector to private enterprise? The same has happened to Medibank Private and other government-controlled enterprises.

I don’t blame the private sector (but governments) have sold out the public in promising the new owners high increases in premiums if they pay top dollar for the old government enterprises. — Gabe Horwath,
