Rail trail hopes

Tweed Daily News - - NEWS | OPINION -

CONGRATULATIONS to Katie Milne for the rails on track meeting.

It proved a point that we need the trains back if Geoff Provest and Thomas George got their act together and make it happen as both have done little for the Tweed Shire, they have only put a police station in the CBD of Tweed Heads with poor access to the rest of the region.

Get the person who wants to invest $90 million in Lismore to be washed away in the next big flood, to invest into the rail service including a sky rail along the Tweed River to the Gold Coast Airport. What a way to get tourists into the area.

Disappointed (in) the ratepayers money being wasted on the re-changing the marriage act.

It would have been better spent on finishing Kirkwood Rd to Fraser Dr.

Regarding the dementia problem - get rid of the Solarium Fluoride out of our water supply, then get Murwillumbah back as our central hub of the Tweed Shire again before it becomes a ghost town. Come on you negative councillors, do something for the prosperity of the Tweed.
