Get in tune with copy­right

All lo­cal mu­si­cians are in­vited to a free mu­sic in­dus­try dis­cus­sion Coun­cil is or­gan­is­ing in Tweed Heads next week.

The dis­cus­sion will take place in the Har­vard Room of the Tweed Heads Civic and Cul­tural Cen­tre from 4–6pm on Tues­day 24 April.

A rep­re­sen­ta­tive from APRA AMCOS, the body that ad­min­is­ters roy­al­ties and ad­vo­cates on be­half of mu­si­cians’ rights in Aus­tralia, will be on hand to give a pre­sen­ta­tion for song­writ­ers and com­posers.

The pre­sen­ta­tion will cover is­sues such as copy­right, roy­al­ties and the work of APRA AMCOS more gen­er­ally.

The event is be­ing or­gan­ised as part of the Mu­si­cians Con­nect­ing Com­mu­ni­ties, or MC2, aimed at sup­port­ing mu­si­cians in the Tweed com­mu­nity.
