1. Mur’bah Show
THE biggest show in the Tweed is back for its 118th year, with plenty of surprises planned. The Murwillumbah Show is stocked with all the essential elements any great country show has to offer, including a rodeo, art show, show jumping and carnival rides. At Murwillumbah Showgrounds. 2. Learn yoga
THERE’S an open day party for yogis and potential yogis today in Murwillumbah as Hot Yoga Mur’bah throws open its doors for free classes all day. 7am Hot Hatha, 8.30am Hot Vinyasa Flow, 10am Vin-yin. 3. Walkers run
THE Gold Coast Runners Club heads south this Sunday to join the Twin Towns Runners and Walkers Club for an enjoyable morning social run, followed by a fabulous breakfast spread, 7–9am, Cunningham Park, Tweed Heads. The Twin Towns Runners and Walkers Club caters for all abilities and age groups from 18 upwards and is always pleased to welcome visitors and locals.
4. King of the Coast
THE Famous King of the Coast’s Inter-club Challenge between the Gold Coast Bodyboarding Club and the Sunshine Coast is back this Sunday for its fourth year at Duranbah. The best riders are selected from each club to go in a head-to-head battle to claim naming rights as the number-one club in Queensland. A spectacular day of bodyboarding action that’s guaranteed to entertain us all. 7am–3pm.
