This example spent most of its life racing in Japan where, in the hands of drivers Kuni and Kenji Takahashi, it won the 1985 and 1986 Japanese Sportscar Manufacturers Championship

It was also victorious in the 1000km 1987 Suzuka 1000km event before it made its way to the USA where it competed in SCCA Historic Events.

In 2004 it was sold to an individual in Wycombe, UK where it remained until 2014 when a German enthusiast purchased it. It is presented in its original and most successful livery.
