CHRYSLER VALIANT XL CHARGER 265

THIS UNRESTORED but mechanically refurbished ‘survivor’ VH XL Charger 265 surprised many when it was offered for sale with no reserve and sold for less than its pre-sale estimate of $28-$32k.

It rolled out of the Adelaide plant with a 245 and column auto. The current owner installed a 265-hemi and a three-speed manual gearbox. The body is in good nick and largely rust-free and the interior retains its six-seat configuration.
