MET SEEK OUT CITY SAFETY

Urban Cyclist - - New Gear - www.met-helmets.com

Helmet giants Met have launched a new helmet aimed at city riders and the growing e-bike community. The standout feature is the extended shell on both sides and at the rear, designed to provide an extra level of safety over manholes and tramlines. That seems a subjective issue. What’s more objective is that the shock-absorbing inner shell adds a strong layer of protection, while the hypoallergenic inner-padding lays out a comfortable buffer between head and helmet. The Corso also comes with a removable rigid visor with invisible clip attachment, and reflectives on the side- and rear-strap anchors supply further safety. The Corso’s also well vented for the approaching spring and summer. It retails for £59.99.
