Urban Cyclist - - Gear On Test -

The Cab9 crew is a collective of snowboard instructors whose experience in the sun, snow and on the street has, they say, helped them to identify a gap in the eyewear market – namely high-quality stylish sunglasses at an affordable price. And fair play, they’ve done a fine job with the Savannahs. The stylish tortoise-shell design drew admiring glances throughout our test period, and across the board, from regal Clifton to bohemian Stokes Croft. The polycarbonate frame feels more durable than its ultra-lightweight construction suggests and it fits like a glove. It’s also comfortable thanks to its rubberised finish. The only cost-saving is seemingly the polarised lenses, which are a touch flimsy but what you’d expect at this price point. Solid hinges complete a pair of glasses that practically and aesthetically punch well above their weight.
