Club Med expanding

Club Med is spending up big with a string of new all-inclusive resorts recently opened, or due to open in the next two years. This US$1.5 billion investment also includes renovating many of the 68 properties already delivering vacation excellence from beach to snow and everywhere in between. Two new resorts opened in China in 2016, Club Med Sanya on the up and coming island of Hainan, and Club Med Beidahu, a ski resort on China’s north, with new ski resorts set to impress when they open in France and Japan in December this year. Club Med Samoëns is just an hour from Geneva and is in the heart of the French Alps, while Club Med Tomamu is in the powdery mountains of Hokkaido. Club Med Cefalu will open in Sicily in 2018, with a new property also slated to open in Indonesia in 2019.
