IT MAKES SENSE

Toyota are always striving to make driving safer for everyone, which is why they invented Toyota Safety Sense1. Corolla Hatch brings a new range of safety controls which work in conjunction to create a safer driving experience for you and your passengers.

STAY PUT

There are two new key safety technologies that are designed to keep you safely in your lane. Lane Trace Assist1 uses a camera to pick up lane markings and provide steering assistance. While Lane Departure Alert1 provides visible and audible alerts should it detect deviations.

SAFETY SPEEDS

Road Sign Assist1 is designed to help recognise road speed signs and display the most recently read speed limit on the Multi Informational Display. To keep you at a safe distance from the car in front, the Active Cruise Control1 uses a millimetre-wave radar to help you mind the gap.

FOREWARNED

The latest Pre-Collision Safety2 (PCS) system with pedestrian and cyclist detection2 is a multi-stage warning system. It is designed to assist where there is a likelihood of frontal collision with cars and pedestrians during the day or night, or cyclists during the day.
