High Tea at Grand Hyatt洋茶‧手中的絢麗
VISION invited internet art celebrity Heeyo to enjoy a royal high tea at Grand Hyatt Melbourne with children as special guests. The amazing chefs created dishes that the British aristocracy enjoyed hundreds of years ago. 應Vision雜誌邀約，網紅藝術家Heeyo 與孩子們相聚午後，酒店精心安排了一場原本只屬於歐洲宮廷內眷的下午洋茶 （High Tea）。在大廚的講解下，領著孩子們感受了一場高貴、精緻、結合視覺和味覺的上流生活。
While waiting for afternoon tea to be served in the private dining area of Collins Kitchen, Heeyo appeared to be sketching with a Montblanc pen. In the blink of an eye, a 3D human figure appeared on the page. The astonished children whispered, “She only took a minute and it’s so pretty!”
Few minutes later, Jason Camillo, the Executive Chef carried high tea into the room.
“Wow! So beautiful!” we all exclaimed. There were many delicate handmade desserts, all colourful and diverse. “I like macaroons,” “I like orange cake,” “I want cupcake…” The children’s eyes shone as they shouted in excitement.
“I need some helping hands to prepare the savoury foods,” Jason announced. The children followed him excitedly into the kitchen.
Inside the kitchen, the Americanstyle barbeque brisket was sizzling. “You won’t find this kind of brisket anywhere else. We’ve specially made it into mini high tea burgers, only available here at Grand Hyatt Melbourne,” Jason told me as he placed the burgers onto the high tea stand.
One by one, the tea stands decorated with savoury bites arrived at the table. “Why are the plain old scones on the top tier?” The children wondered the same question. “Sandwiches and scones are an important part of English high tea, it’s a royal high tea tradition. Based on these two items, you can really tell how good your high tea is, Jason explained patiently. “Cut the scone in half, spread some of our special cream cheese and jam on it, and give it a try!”
Heeyo exclaimed, “The cream cheese has such a mellow aroma! Together with the fruit jam, the soft scone is too delicious!” The children said with satisfied smiles, “This hotel is so much fun!”
“Every dish, every patisserie, and every sauce is hand-made and baked by the chef. The food design and style changes monthly and the large, beautiful selection of sweet and savoury items also change frequently. Our weekend buffet high tea is the best and most sumptuous in Victoria,” said Jason.
“Although high tea is usually only available on weekends, we are always happy to do special surprises for family gatherings, birthdays or other events,” says Grand Hyatt Melbourne Marketing Communications Coordinator Jessica Formato.
在酒店餐廳內私人聚會專屬的空間裡，Heeyo 為等待下午茶的孩子們送上一份額外的驚喜，她手持萬寶龍筆，看似隨意的勾勾畫畫中，一幅立體結構的人形圖就展現在眼前了， 「她只用了一分鐘，太漂亮了，」孩子們交頭接耳的讚歎道。
進入廚房，美式炭烤牛排剛剛出爐，「這種牛肉在是外面吃不到的，我們特地做成下午洋茶的小漢堡，只有墨爾本 Grand Hyatt 才有」廚師向孩子一邊解釋一邊把剛完成的漢堡放在洋茶架上。
一架架鹹味點心放在桌上，「為 甚麼點心的最上層是最不起眼的Scone （英式烤餅）呢？」孩子歪著頭提著同樣的問題，「歐洲傳統洋茶中不能缺的有三明治和Scone，這是皇室下午洋茶的傳統。因此，洋茶中最能看出真功夫就是這兩樣點心。」大廚耐心的解釋道，「把Scone 切開，塗上我們特製的奶油乳酪（Cream Cheese）和自製果醬，試試！」。
「奶油乳酪散出醇醇的奶香，配上果醬的果香，鬆軟的烤餅，太好吃了 !」Heeyo 讚歎道！孩子們一張張小臉露出滿意的笑容，「這個酒店真的太棒了！」
「雖然只有在週末固定提供洋茶，但如果有特殊節慶，例如家庭聚會、生日饗宴或其他社交活動，餐廳很樂意提供這份『特殊的驚喜』」，墨爾本 Grand Hyatt 市場主管 Jessica Formato 說道。
