In his in­dus­trial-style gallery on Via Carlo de Cristo­foris, ar­chi­tect and de­signer Vin­cenzo De Cotiis showed Baro­quisme, a beau­ti­fully ab­stract col­lec­tion of pieces in sil­vered cast brass, mar­ble and Mu­rano glass, in­clud­ing ta­bles, wall cab­i­nets, screens and wall lights. “I was look­ing for un­pre­dictable in­flu­ences,” ex­plains De Cotiis. “No rules... screens as clas­si­cal ru­ins, cab­i­nets as Baroque stucco.
