Vincenzo De Cotiis THE MAESTRO:
In his industrial-style gallery on Via Carlo de Cristoforis, architect and designer Vincenzo De Cotiis showed Baroquisme, a beautifully abstract collection of pieces in silvered cast brass, marble and Murano glass, including tables, wall cabinets, screens and wall lights. “I was looking for unpredictable influences,” explains De Cotiis. “No rules... screens as classical ruins, cabinets as Baroque stucco. Without schemes but intensely involved in historicity.” De Cotiis’s collectible limited-edition and one-off pieces are produced under the Progetto Domestico label. Visit decotiis.it.
