What’s in your garden:

It’s a mixture of native and exotic plants. Anything we plant now is usually native, in order to attract native birds. My mosaic works are also a feature throughout the garden.

What do you enjoy about gardening:

The end result, and the challenge of creating a sustainable garden in this area.

Favorite plant in your garden:

My favorite plant is probably the grevilleas, for their flowers and their ability to attract birds.

Water saving/conservation tip:

The garden is kept alive by water from our dam, so we have to plan how we use the water. We also keep a bucket in a shower and use this water on the garden as well.

Your tips to keep gardens in top shape:

Mulching, and we’ve found using stones for mulch is more sustainable and less of a fire hazard.
