Council manager resigns to pursue new opportunities
DIRECTOR of community wellbeing at the Rural City of Wangaratta, Jaime Carroll, has resigned.
Ms Carroll resigned from her role after three years to pursue opportunities in consulting, which was her career path prior to working at council.
Council chief executive officer Brendan McGrath thanked Ms Carroll for her service and said she has been a valued member of council during a challenging period for the organisation.
“Jaime has played a vital role in leading the organisation through the transition from administrators to councillors and leaves the organisation in a much better position,” he said, wishing her all the best for the future.
Ms Carroll will finish with council on November 10 and acting arrangements and recruitment will be announced closer to that date.
