Coun­cil man­ager re­signs to pur­sue new op­por­tu­ni­ties

DI­REC­TOR of com­mu­nity well­be­ing at the Ru­ral City of Wangaratta, Jaime Car­roll, has re­signed.

Ms Car­roll re­signed from her role af­ter three years to pur­sue op­por­tu­ni­ties in con­sult­ing, which was her ca­reer path prior to work­ing at coun­cil.

Coun­cil chief ex­ec­u­tive of­fi­cer Bren­dan McGrath thanked Ms Car­roll for her ser­vice and said she has been a val­ued mem­ber of coun­cil dur­ing a chal­leng­ing pe­riod for the or­gan­i­sa­tion.

“Jaime has played a vi­tal role in lead­ing the or­gan­i­sa­tion through the tran­si­tion from ad­min­is­tra­tors to coun­cil­lors and leaves the or­gan­i­sa­tion in a much bet­ter po­si­tion,” he said, wish­ing her all the best for the fu­ture.

Ms Car­roll will fin­ish with coun­cil on Novem­ber 10 and act­ing ar­range­ments and re­cruit­ment will be an­nounced closer to that date.
