Food, wine and market fun for La Dolce Vita
CELEBRATE the La Dolce Vita festival by enjoying an extended range of stalls at the Moyhu Community Market with Anita McPherson Primary School bake sale and the chance to pick up the latest calendar for Christmas from the Whitfield Community Childcare centre.
Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
ENJOY live music at the Cheshunt Hall on November 25 when King Valley presents host Mick Thomas from Weddings, Parties, Anything, Canadian band Twin Peaks and special guests, for a fun, family night out.
Supported by the King Valley Art Show through its art culture grant program, there will be a bar and barbecue available with the event starting at 6pm and tickets at $25 per person ($20 concession, under 15 free) are available from the Cheshunt Store or visit www. trybooking.com/sfuy.
DONATIONS are being welcomed for the second annual fundraising “country auction” being held at the Cheshunt Hall on Saturday, December 9.
Pick-ups can be arranged ( sorry, no very large items this year) but all other donations of goods including collectables, homewares, shed and garden tools and equipment, bric-a-brac and more, would all be gratefully appreciated.
Spring clean today and offer a new home to those unwanted items, knowing that funds raised at the auction will help support the Cheshunt and Whitfield halls, by calling Ange on 5729 8517 or Lyn on 5729 8383.
SPRING is in the air and it’s a great time to discover new release and museum wines at the 11 different local wineries taking part in the La Dolce Vita wine and food festival this year. Wineries will be open from 10am until 5pm on Saturday and Sunday...
