Food, wine and mar­ket fun for La Dolce Vita

CEL­E­BRATE the La Dolce Vita fes­ti­val by en­joy­ing an ex­tended range of stalls at the Moyhu Com­mu­nity Mar­ket with Anita McPher­son Pri­mary School bake sale and the chance to pick up the lat­est cal­en­dar for Christ­mas from the Whit­field Com­mu­nity Child­care cen­tre.

En­try is free and every­one is wel­come.

EN­JOY live mu­sic at the Cheshunt Hall on Novem­ber 25 when King Val­ley pre­sents host Mick Thomas from Wed­dings, Par­ties, Any­thing, Cana­dian band Twin Peaks and special guests, for a fun, fam­ily night out.

Sup­ported by the King Val­ley Art Show through its art cul­ture grant pro­gram, there will be a bar and bar­be­cue avail­able with the event start­ing at 6pm and tick­ets at $25 per per­son ($20 con­ces­sion, un­der 15 free) are avail­able from the Cheshunt Store or visit www. try­book­ing.com/sfuy.

DO­NA­TIONS are be­ing wel­comed for the sec­ond an­nual fundrais­ing “coun­try auc­tion” be­ing held at the Cheshunt Hall on Satur­day, De­cem­ber 9.

Pick-ups can be ar­ranged ( sorry, no very large items this year) but all other do­na­tions of goods in­clud­ing col­lecta­bles, home­wares, shed and gar­den tools and equip­ment, bric-a-brac and more, would all be grate­fully ap­pre­ci­ated.

Spring clean today and of­fer a new home to those un­wanted items, know­ing that funds raised at the auc­tion will help sup­port the Cheshunt and Whit­field halls, by call­ing Ange on 5729 8517 or Lyn on 5729 8383.
