People power at tonight’s assembly
PEOPLE living and working in the Ovens Murray region will be involved in tonight’s regional assembly in Wangaratta.
This year’s assembly will be another chance for residents, community organisations and businesses to hear what the partnership has achieved to date, and to help further shape and influence its main priorities.
A number of senior representatives from state government departments as well as government ministers will be attending tonight’s event.
Agriculture, digital innovation, renewable energy, early years and youth, will all be on the agenda at this year’s assembly.
For those who have already registered the assembly will be held from 5.30pm-8.30pm at the Wangaratta Performing Arts Centre, corner Ford and Ovens streets.
