THE Ru­ral City of Wan­garatta is invit­ing com­mu­nity mem­bers to share their thoughts on how to make the mu­nic­i­pal­ity a more in­clu­sive and ac­ces­si­ble place for peo­ple to live and visit.

Coun­cil is cur­rently re­view­ing its Com­mu­nity Ac­cess and In­clu­sion Action Plan for 2018 – 2020 and has de­vel­oped a sur­vey to give com­mu­nity mem­bers the op­por­tu­nity to in­form the plan.

The plan aims to as­sist coun­cil in work­ing with com­mu­nity and busi­ness sec­tors to iden­tify and im­ple­ment strate­gies that en­sure all com­mu­nity mem­bers, in­clud­ing peo­ple liv­ing with dis­abil­i­ties and car­ers, are able to ac­cess ser­vices and fa­cil­i­ties, and par­tic­i­pate in com­mu­nity and civic events.

The sur­vey con­sists of 20 ques­tions and takes ap­prox­i­mately 10-15 min­utes to com­plete.

The sur­vey closes on Mon­day, July 16.
