Putting the fun in fundraise for RUOK?

WAN­GARATTA High School VCAL stu­dents Mitchel Cook, Noah Stone, Hay­den New­ton and Tay­lah Gig­gins have been work­ing hard this term to plan a com­mu­nity trivia night as part of their per­sonal de­vel­op­ment skills project.

The stu­dents have been re­ceiv­ing do­na­tions from gen­er­ous lo­cal busi­nesses and have reached a to­tal of $2000 so far, which will be sorted and go to­wards ei­ther the silent auc­tion on the night or given away to the win­ners and lucky ticket re­cip­i­ents.

The night will in­clude a light sup­per, a silent auc­tion and all pro­ceeds will go to the RUOK? char­ity foun­da­tion with tick­ets avail­able for $10 each, with ta­bles of 10 avail­able, at the gen­eral of­fice lo­cated on Ed­ward street side of the school.

The com­mu­nity is en­cour­aged to bring fam­ily and friends and en­joy a fun night full of en­ter­tain­ment.

The trivia night will be held on Tues­day, Septem­ber 11 at 6.30pm in the se­nior school build­ing, any en­quiries can be made at the WHS gen­eral of­fice or via the VCAL co­or­di­na­tor, Leisa Gra­ham on gra­ham.leisa.j@ edu­mail.vic.gov.au.
