THE ‘Well Age­ing Info Hub’ will present a pub­lic in­for­ma­tion ses­sion on ad­vanced care plan­ning at the Wan­garatta Per­form­ing Arts Cen­tre Con­fer­ence Room at 2pm next Tues­day.

SPRING CLEAN­ING TIPS Here are some tips to help you and your fam­ily breathe more eas­ily this spring: weekly in wa­ter hot­ter than 55°C; dust mite-re­sis­tant pro­tec­tors; sun­shine and give them a reg­u­lar clean; which are eas­ier to clean than heavy cur­tains - ex­ter­nal shut­ters are an­other op­tion; hard sur­faces (in­clud­ing floors), and avoid feather dusters and dry dust­ing cloths, which just stir up dust; do the vac­u­um­ing, as this in­creases al­ler­gen in the air for up to 20 min­utes; asthma and al­lergy sen­si­tive HEPA fil­ter; them away from the room while clean­ing; BE PRE­PARED: Vivi­enne Meloury is among hun­dreds of Wan­garatta and dis­trict res­i­dents who suf­fer from asthma.
