SPRING CLEANING TIPS Here are some tips to help you and your family breathe more easily this spring: weekly in water hotter than 55°C; dust mite-resistant protectors; sunshine and give them a regular clean; which are easier to clean than heavy curtains - external shutters are another option; hard surfaces (including floors), and avoid feather dusters and dry dusting cloths, which just stir up dust; do the vacuuming, as this increases allergen in the air for up to 20 minutes; asthma and allergy sensitive HEPA filter; them away from the room while cleaning; BE PREPARED: Vivienne Meloury is among hundreds of Wangaratta and district residents who suffer from asthma.
