FUNDING of up to $8000 will be available for creative art projects within the Rural City of Wangaratta to help commemorate the 10 year anniversary of the 2009 Victorian bushfires.
Wangaratta, Alpine and Indigo locla government areas are among 21 across the state which are eligible to take part in the State Government’s Community Arts Grants Program.
The program, to be administered by Regional Arts Victoria, offers funding of up to $8000 per local government area for creative projects that reflect the experiences of local communities directly affected by the 2009 bushfires.
Applications will open mid October - more details will be on the Regional Arts Victoria website later this month.
