MA­JOR Crash of­fi­cers have put a call out for in­for­ma­tion on a se­vere crash in Mariginiup in Jan­uary. A male mo­tor­cy­clist suf­fered se­ri­ous in­juries when the black Tri­umph he was rid­ing col­lided with a sil­ver Holden Vec­tra at the in­ter­sec­tion of Old Yanchep Road. The 35-year-old cy­clist, of Tap­ping, was treated at Joon­dalup Health Cam­pus. The 18-year-old Holden driver was un­harmed. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion can call Crime Stop­pers.


A MAN fac­ing a num­ber of charges al­legedly jumped fences in an at­tempt to flee po­lice in Car­ra­mar early this month. The ac­cused (27) was wanted over the theft of a Yamaha mo­tor­cy­cle from Perth Air­port and the theft of a trailer, which he al­legedly tried to sell on Gumtree. Po­lice al­lege he was in pos­ses­sion of metham­phetamine and drug para­pher­na­lia when they de­tained him on April 3. Of­fi­cers charged him with steal­ing, fraud, breach of bail, ve­hi­cle theft and tres­pass­ing.


PO­LICE charged nine peo­ple dur­ing an op­er­a­tion tar­get­ing Heathridge and Ocean Reef late last month. One of the al­leged of­fend­ers, a 25-year-old Kings­ley man, was ac­cused of rid­ing a dirt bike with­out a hel­met through a shop­ping cen­tre carpark while drunk. Other per­sons of in­ter­est were charged with weapon and drug of­fences. Po­lice seized cash, 15g of metham­phetamine and a large amount of steroids (pic­tured above).
