POLICE have charged a man over a violent robbery in the carpark of a Hocking shopping centre. Police had been investigating the matter since June before recently charging the 38-year-old man. Officers are investigating the involvement of at least two other people. It is believed the victim knew the alleged attacker. The man is accused of punching the victim multiple times to his face as he sat in a car about 2.45pm on June 3. He allegedly stolen items from the complainant, who was left with broken eye socket.
